New-York, June 27.  Saturday night last one Beisheba
Cleveland, being out a dancing, in company with a seaman
named James Caldwell, and some words arising between them,
he struck her; upon which she endeavoured to make her escape
over several fences from him, in attempting which, she hurt
herself; this, with the heat of dancing, and the blow she
received, obliged her to take to her bed. . . [4 lines
describing her death, attributing her death to Caldwell]
