Monday last Capt. Calley arrived at Marblehead in 36 days
from Falmouth, by whom we are favoured with the following
late articles of intelligence, viz.  London. . . March 30. 
The present conduct of the French ambassador and ministry,
with respect to the balls, brings to our recollection the
expression of the Kings of Brentford:  "We shall settle our
state-affairs--but first we'll have a dance."
