Extract of a letter from Copenhagen, April 28. Saturday
last, early in the forenoon, the committee of inquiry
pronounced sentence against John Frederick Struensee and
Enevold Brant, which was accordingly presented to the Privy
Council, without his majesty's attendance. In the
afternoon, the Privy Council met again; in the evening,
towards seven o'clock, the King arrived from
Charlottesburgh, and presided at the council board, when,
after confirming the sentence, he went directly to the
Italian Opera.
