Petersburgh, Aug. 31.  The court has published this day a
detail of the glorious victory gained by Count Romanzow on
the first of this month over the Grant Vizer. . . It appears
that the Turks in the battle lost 46,000 men. . . our loss
on this occasion only amounts to 353 killed. . . The booty
taken on the field of battle, and at Ismail, consists of 53
pair of colours, two horse-tails, two standards, four pair
of kettle drums, 203 pieces of heavy cannon, and an
innumerable quantity of baggage, tents, carts of ammunition,
provisions, &c. &c.
