London, May 8. To-morrow, we are informed, Mr. Alderman
Wilkes will go to the House of Commons, accompanied by a
select number of independent and respectable gentlemen
freeholders of Middlesex, to demand his seat, as member of
the said county.
To-morrow being the day that Mr. Wilkes is expected to
demand his seat in the House of Commons, we hear all the
peals of bells in the bills of mortality, will ring a dumb
peal, in honor of the present dumb administration.
