New-London, June 16. Last Sunday evening was married here
Mr. Daniel Shaw, of Marlborough, to Miss Grace Coit, of this
town, a young lady embellish'd with every qualification
requisite to render a married life agreeable,-----On Monday
an invitation, and in the evening an elegant ball was given
by Nathaniel Shaw, Esq; at his mansion house in this town,
to ninety two of the principal gentlemen and ladies of this
place, who attended, and danced ninety two jiggs, fifty two
country dances, forty-five minuets, and seventeen hornpipes-
----The great order the decorum was observed thro' the
whole, and the company retired at 45 minutes after 12
o'clock.
