Copy of a letter from a sea officer at Portsmouth, to his
friend in London, Nov. 23.  One evening, a young gentleman
of Belleisle was introduced to me, by a French surgeon's
mate of our ship; he was extremely polite, and danced beyond
description, and traversed with the most familiar ease and
dignity through the different steps of minutes, rigadoons,
country-dances, and jiggs. . .
