[London]  Last Saturday the operas began in the Hay-Market;
but the principal singer and principal dancer did not
perform. There was a prodigious audience, and a prodigious
expence; for it is said the whole charge of the operas, for
six months, will come to upwards of 16,000 L--------Is not
Britain then in fine state, when, notwithstanding our taxes,
we can sling away such a sum on a parcel of squeaking,
capering, fiddling Italian eunuchs, and foreign buffoons?
