From the political state for May 1736. 
The entry was as follows:
1.  The adjutant general of the province on foot, in a blue
suit, richly embroidered with gold; he was followed by a
french horn and four trumpets. . .
4. Sixty officers on horseback . . . they had three trumpets
before them.
5. A herald at arms with a french horn and four trumpets
before him. . .
The bells of every church in the city were ringing all the
while.  Eighteen companies of the train'd bands . . . drums
beating and colours flying.
