It is with pleasure we inform the publick, that a few days
since was shipped for Newport, a very curious spinnet, the
first ever made in America, the performance of the ingenious
Mr. John Harris, (son of the late Mr. Joseph Harris, of
London, Harpsichord and Spinnet-maker, deceased,) and in
every respect does honour to that artist, who now carries on
said business at his house, a few doors northward of Dr.
Clark's, North-End.
