New-York February 12. . .
On Monday last, the four condemn'd criminals, mention'd in
our former paper, were executed. . . Their execution had
been suspended a week, at the intercession of the Rev. Doct.
Anchmuty, who finding them all remarkably ignorant, even of
the first principles of religion, . . . [10 lines, with
other ministers of this city, tried to given them spiritual
assistance.]  On Sunday last the Rev. Mr. Ogilvie, curate of
Trinity Church, gave them a very affecting exhortation,
concluded with a prayer and hymn, adapted to their
melancholy circumstances. . .
