[Philadelphia] Tuesday Morn. Oct. 8, 1765.  Sir, I make no
doubt but you have heard that a great number of people were
collected at the State house, on Saturday last, by causing
muffled drums to beat thro' the streets of the city, and by
ringing the State-house bell muffled, and by directing all
enquirers to repair to the State-house for information. . .
