By the Hartford Post.  Havannah.  On Tuesday the 10th of
August, at XII o'clock, Lord Albemarle sent an officer with
a drum, to the governor, to demand possession of the city,
and in case of refusal, to acquaint him that he would set
fire to it the next morning----The governor answered that he
had 6 months ammunition, & would defend it to the last
extremity.
