Halifax, November 1.  On Sunday the 19th ultimo ( to our
inexpressible grief ) died of an inflammation in the lungs,
after an illness of seven days, his Excellency Charles
Lawrence, Governor of this province; and on Thursday
following at four o'clock in the afternoon the funeral
procession began from the Governor's house as follows, viz.
