We hear the fireworks that were to be play'd off in Lincoln's Fields, on proclaiming the peace (which is now agreed on all hands to be concluded) are to be in Hyde Park, near the Serpentine River; and that the expence will amount to 25,000 l. which is the sum allotted by the Dutch for the purpose; but the French have agreed to make theirs more magnificent, by spending at least 30,000 l. |
