Bristol, March 29. On Tuesday, before six in the morning!
Samuel Lee, a private continal, was conducted, all in white,
by a party of grenadiers, to Durdham-Down, attended by the
Rev. Mr. Hall; where, after spending about an hour and a
half in prayer and singing of psalms, he was shot to death
for desertion by six grenadiers of his own chusing, in the
presence of the whole regiment and a multitude of citizens.
