Boston. We hear his Excellency the Governour and Captain
General has issued his orders to the colonels of the several
regiments of this province and of New Hampshire, that they
direct the captains of the several companies to beat up for
voluntiers for the intended expedition against the Spanish
settlements in the West-Indies.
His Majesty's declaration of war against Spain, was, by his
Excellency's order published at Portsmouth in New-Hampshire,
with great solemnity on Tuesday the 19th of April past; As
was afterwards his Excellency's proclamation for encouraging
the enlistment of voluntiers.
