Charlestown, in South-Carolina March 30.   Mr. Oglethorp
being arrived the 14th inst. at Georgia, he acquainted the
Saltzburghers who were come with Capt. Fry in the ship
Parysburgh, that they should have liberty to chuse such part
of the country as they thought most convenient for them to
build a town. . . [a party goes up river by water]  The
Saltzburghers were extreamly pleased with the place kneeled
down by the river side, sung a psalm and returned God thanks
for bringing them out of their persecutions.
