Venice, Sept. 25. On Monday the Dogs, accompany'd by all the
nobles, went to the church of St. Mark, to return thanks to
God for the deliverance of Zant from the plague: The
miraculous image of the Holy Virgin, painted by Evangelist
St. Luke, was there exposed: Te Deum was sung, and after
divine service a solemn procession was made in which that
image was carry'd.
