From the London Gazette Novemb. 11. Dublin, Octo. 21.
Yesterday being his Majesty's birth day, the great guns were
fired at the barracks, and answered by vollies from the
regiments on duty which were drawn out on Oxmantown Green.
At noon there was a splendid appearance of the nobility and
other persons of distinction to compliment the lord
justices, before who a song was performed; after which their
excellencies were entertained at dinner at the Tholsel, and
at night there was a play given by their excellencies for
the entertainment of the ladies.
