London, November I. Last Tuesday being the Anniversary of
the birth of his Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, when he
entered into the 39th year of his age, there was a very
splendid appearance of the nobility, foreign ministers and
other persons of distinction at Leicester House, to
congratulate his Royal Highness on that occasion; at night
there was a very magnificent ball at St. James's Palace, and
bonfires in several places; but particularly before the
Royal Exchanges, when a fine fire work was also played off.
