Paris, September 10. 1721. On the 8th instant in the
afternoon the King took the diversion of hunting, and in the
evening his Majesty went to Venure a seat of the Duke of
Bourbon, who entertain'd his Majesty with a magnificent
collation, and a consort of music. The whole house,
together with the terrase-walks were illuminated, and there
were fine fire-works which lasted till nine of the clock,
when the King returned to the Tuilleries; the rest of the
company remained there to supper.
