The capitulation demanded of the Marshall Berwick by the Spanish governour, for the surrender of this town and his retiring with the garrison into the castle, and the terms prescribed to him by the Marshal as follows: 1. That the garrison march out at the breach, with their arms, colours flying, drums beating, and with 10 shot each soldier. The garrison shall retire up to the castle to-day. |
