Leipzick, October 21. The Duke Maurice William, of Saxe-
Zeitz, who last year embraced the Roman Catholick religion
at the instigation of the Cardinal of Sax-Zeitz, his brother
who labours indefatigably to seduce all the Princes of his
family to the Popish church, is returned to the Lutheran
communion, . . . [17 lines] after which a paper was read
from the pulpit to acquaint the congregation with the Duke's
being returned to the Protestant religion, and Te Deum was
sung with the sound of the trumpets and kettle-drums, those
who were present, and all the rest of his subjects, shewing
an inexpressible joy to see their Prince returned to the
communion of their church. . . [18 lines]
