London, May 29. Yesterday being his Majesty's birth-day,
there was a very numerous and most magnificent Court at
Kensington. His Majesty received the compliments of the
nobility, foreign ministers and other persons of note, on
that occasion, and at night there was a ball in one of the
galleries, and another in the green house, with
illuminations in the gardens, fireworks, &c.
The same day was observed in the cities of London and
Westminister with ringing of bells, bonfires, illuminations,
and all other demonstrations of joy, loyalty and affections.
