London, April 4. Last Tuesday the Prince of Wales went to
Limehouse and saw the ship launch'd which is built for the
South Sea Company. He went thro' the city in an open cruise,
to the Tower wharf, where he took water in his own barge,
attended by many of the nobility of both sexes, and the
Right Honourable the Lord Mayor of this city; and salvoed by
the shouts of the mariners on board the ships, who fir'd
their guns, sounded their trumpets, and hung onto their
flags and streamers.
Another ship was launch'd at the same time, during which he
partook of a noble entertainment which was provided at the
ship builders house near the dock.
