St. James's Decemb. 13.  One James Carnaby, formerly a
player, and a professed papist, was committed to Newgate by
order of the Lord Viscount Townshend, one of his Majesty's
principal secretaries of state for uttering treasonable
words at his Majesty's Royal Palace at St. James's.
