London, August 21.  We have advice from Milton in Kent, that
King George was proclaimed there on Saturday the 7th instant
with great solemnity,. . .  [1 line] and other chief
inhabitants of the said town, being accompanied by Sir
William Jumper (who particularly distinguish'd himself on
this occasion) and other the neighbouring clergy and
gentlemen, and proceeded to the market cross with drums
beating, and flags carried before them. . . [6 lines]
