They write from Dublin that the 6th instant being her
majesty's birth day, the same was celebrated with
extraordinary demonstrations of joy. His Grace the Duke of
Shrewsbury, Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, entertained at
dinner near 50 peers and peeresses, and at night with a
play, where there was a numerous appearance of gentlemen and
ladies. There was the same night a firework on the river,
which was play'd off to the admiration of the whole court
and others.
