Vienna, June 27, N.S.  Sunday last having been St. John's
Day, the name which the King of Portugual bears, his
embassador made choice of it for declaring the intended
marriage between his master and Mary Anne, Arch-Dutchess of
Austria, second sister to the present emperor.  The
embassador went to court on this occasion in great ceremony,
being cloath'd in the Spanish dress, and sitting alone in
his coach of state;. . . [11 lines] The solemnity of this
day was concluded with a ball at court; and the next day the
embassador gave a splendid entertainment and ball at his
house to all the people of quality. . . [4 lines]
