Nijmes, June 23.  Our commerce is very much interrupted by
the continuation of the troubles in this country, . . . [30
lines] Cavalier has been for several days in this city to
raise men for his own regiment, the King having made him a
colonel.  He was to have the liberty to profess his
religion, and to encourage the camisars to list under him,
the few men who follow'd him were allow'd to sing psalms in
