Fifty dollars reward!  Run away from the subscriber, on
Thursday last, the 23d inst. a Negro slave, named Diamond,
about 5 feet 5 or 6 inches high, is well made, and his
complexion a very deep black; took with him a new light blue
coat, with red capes and cuffs, and yellow buttons, a white
coat, jacket and breeches, about half worn, a pair of black
breeches, a pair of buckskin ditto, there pair of linnen
ditto, and a pair of new English boots; he also took with
him a violin, of which he is very fond, tho' a miserable
performer.  Whoever takes up said slave, and secures him in
any goal belonging to the United States, will receive the
above reward, and all necessary charges paid.      W.

N.B.  The above Negro was heard to say he would go to
Newport.
