Providence, September 13th 1760. James Green hereby
notifies his town and country customers, that he has lately
removed from the shop he had opposite Knight Dexter, Esq; to
a new shop opposite John Angell, Esq; at the sign of the [
] where he has just open'd a large and full assortment of
fresh goods, just imported per Capt. B[illeg] from London,
via Boston, consisting of all kinds winter goods, hard
wares, &c. which will be sold at the lowest rates by
wholesale and retail, viz.
A great assortment of fashionable cloth-colour'd blue &
scarlet broad cloth, kerseys, green and coloth-colour'd
ratteens,. . .

ivory combs, thimbles, needles, pins, jews harps, men's and
womens new-fashion shoe buckles, chapes and tongs, sleeve
buttons, all kinds white and yellow mettle coat and breast
buttons, horse whips, brass ink potts, with a great variety
of other articles to tedious to mention----Likewise, London
starch, pepper, tea, coffee, chocolate, spices of all sorts,
best large Turkey figs, currants, rasins, molasses, West-
India and New-England rum, sugar, cotton-wool, best new
Philadelphia flour, Glocester cheese, split pease, pipes,
&c.
N.B. The above goods will be sold very low for ready
money of this government, or for Connecticut bills of
credit; good attendance will be given early and late.
