To be sold by public vendue, at the house of Mr. Cord
Cordis, at the westerly part of Boston, on Wednesday next,
at three a clock in the afternoon, the household furniture
of Edmund Quincy of Brantree, Esq; consisting of feather
beds, bedsteads and curtains, mehogany and black walnut
tables, black walnut framed chairs, cane chairs, a handsome
marble slab, a variety of china dishes, plates, cups and
saucers, &c. a turkey carpet, a beautiful 8 day clock,
looking glasses of various sorts, a chest of draws and
table, a fine large harpsicord, pictures, maps a case of
silver haft knives and forks, a handsome pair of silver
chaffin dishes, 3 silver cans, and sundry other pieces of
plate, a fine assortment of kitchen furniture, consisting of
pewter, brass, iron and tin ware, and a variety of other
articles, too many to be here enumerated; also at the same
time and place to be sold, one Negro man, one Negro woman,
and three Negro girls. And on Thursday next at 3 o'clock in
the afternoon at the same place, to be sold the said
Edmund's library, a catalogue of which may be seen at the
office of William Story in Boston.
Also to be sold by publick vendue on Wednesday the 26th
inst. at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, at the said Edmunds
farm in Brantree, the stock upon the said farm, consisting
of oxen, cows, horses, &c. and sundry husbandry tools, too
many to be here particularly mentioned.
