A dispute arising between the Duke de la Matalone and the Chevalier Pignatelli, who should dance first at a ball, they went out to decide it by the sword. One of their domistics interposing to separate them, was run through the body, and died in a few hours. The two gentlemen are confined to their houses by order of the court. |
