London. . . October 9. Yesterday a butcher at St. James's
market went out of town in great pomp to be married:
Marrowbones and cleavers began the march; after which came
fourteen men and women on white horses and cloathed in
white; then came the bride and bridegroom in a chaise, who
were followed by twenty more, with a man and woman in each,
all cloathed in white, with which the cavalcade was closed.
