Whereas one Walter McDaniel, who call'd himself by the name
of John Dath[?] runs into gulley binding] when he hired a
horse of me the subscriber of Chelsea on Saturday the 1st of
April to go to Marblehead since which I am informed he went
with said horse to Rhode-Island.
  The said Walter McDaniel is an Irishman, and has the
brogue on his tongue; a pretty great talker and singer, of a
fair complection; had on a blew broadcloth coat, white
fustian jacket yellow buckskin breeches, pair of large
flower'd silver buckels, three rings on his right hand
little finger, one a grape ring, the other two plain; the
horse was about 14 hands high, sorrel with some white in his
face, a bob tail, he trou[? gulley] paces and hand-gallops;
had a black saddle with ears something torn, a russet
housing.
  Whoever shall take up the said man and horse, and bring
them to me the subscriber at Chelsea aforesaid, shall have
twenty pounds old tenor, or ten pounds old tenor for the
horse only, with reasonable charges, paid them by Richard
Watts.    Chelsea, Aug. 13 1749.
