Ratisbon, March 26. On the 20th instant Baron Bernclau
enter'd the bavarian suburbs of Stadt-am-Hoff, with four
Regiments of Cuirassiers and Hungarians.
. . . [attack on town and soldiers by Pandours, Talpatches,
Hanaques, Valaques, Croatians, and Warascins] Most of them
are cover'd with the skins of Bears, Wolves, and other
beasts. . . and after having regaled themselves, and taken
away all they could find, they went away from Stad-am-Hoff
with the sound of very frightful musick.
