London. . . Octob. 12.  Yesterday being the anniversary of
their Majesties coronation, there was a numerous and
splendid appearance at Hampden Court of the nobility,
foreign ministers,and other persons of distinction.  At noon
the guns in St. James's Park and at the Tower were fir'd;
and at night there were bonfires, illuminations, ringing of
bells, and all publick demonstrations of joy throughout
London and Westminster.
