Bristol, Sept. 14. The entry which our Hon. Recorder John
Scrope, Esq; made into this city last Monday in the evening,
in order to hold the General Goal Delivery, exceeded any
other on that occasion since his recordership; the gentlemen
on horseback, in coaches, chariots, &c. were very numerous,
and the weavers and combers dress'd in their customary
apparels, made the cavalcade extend a great length, with
musick before them; and the bells rung the greatest part of
the day and evening.
On Wednesday morning the following prisoners were bro't
upon their trials at the Guild Hall, viz.
