Norwich, [England] July 28. I have a certain account that
on Friday the 20th instant the Hon. Sir Edmund Bacon
Garboldisham Bart. (who voted against the excise scheme) and
William Woodhouse, Esq; who will stand candidates at the
next election of knights of the shire for the County of
Norfolk, upon their going to the town of Deerham, were met
by near 500 freeholders on horseback with musick playing
before them and received them with the utmost demonstrations
of joy, and the greatest marks of honour the town was
capable of shewing.
