Boston March 1.  This being Her present Majesty's birth day,
it was observed by firing the guns at his Majesty's Castle
William.  In the afternoon our Lieut. Gov. the Hon. Spencer
Phipps Esq; several of his Majesty's Council, Justices,
Officers and other Gentlemen of the Town met in the Council
Chamber, where was drank the healths of the King, Queen and
Royal Family, the present ministry at home, his Excellency
our governors, and prosperity to this province, &c.  In the
evening his Hon. the Lieut. Gov. with some other officers in
the town, and ladies, were invited by John Peagrum Esq;
surveyor general of his Majesty's Customs, to his
appartments at Mr. Collector Lamberts, where the aforesaid
healths were repeated, and the night concluded with musick,
dancing and other demonstrations of joy, suitable to the
occasion.
