Cork, Aug. 1. This being the first of August, and the
shoemakers of our city being very loyal, made a handsome
appearance on the occasion: They had a company of horse,
well mounted, in leather armour, and a company of foot in
buff coats, a company of small boys with size sticks in
their hands, accompanied with Crispin and Crispinus, with
kettle drums, trumpets hautboys, and the guns firing from
the brigadier's garrison, which concluded the day.
