Polkwitz, in the Dutchy of Glagau, July 29.  Yesterday
arrived here the King of Prussia, and was without the gate
received by a squadron of cuiraffiers of the regiment of
Prince Frederick of Wirtenberg, commanded by Major Barron
van Plettenburg.  The King alighted instantly from his
coach, and saw the said squadron perform a short exercise,
with which his Majesty was well pleased.  The burghers were
drawn up in the market-place, with their colours flying, and
at the Town-house his Majesty was serenaded by trumpets,
kettle-drums, and other musick; after which the King rode to
the tents erected for him in a garden, wherein was posted
some company's of foot of the Regiment of Welzeck. . .
