London, October 21. Last Thursday being the anniversary of
the Princess Royal's birth-day, a masque was prepar'd at his
Royal Highness's command on that occasion, by Mr. Rich, and
perform'd by his Company in his Royal Highness's gardens at
Kew, which were illuminated with above a thousand lamps,
dispos'd in a very elegant manner: At the conclusion of the
masque, several pieces of fireworks were play'd off on Kew-
Green.
Their Royal Highnesses were pleas'd to express their
satisfaction at the entertainment.
