Last Thursday se'nnight, about 5 o'clock in the morning, a
fire broke out in the Printing Office of Mr. John Mycall, of
Newbury-Port; by which, that and about 11 other buildings
were consumed; --among them the dwelling houses of Capt.
Nicholas Tracy, and Capt. Rogers.
Mr. Mycall's loss, by the above accident, is very great.
Besides two printing presses, and nearly 6000 lb, of types,
he lost 12 or 14 thousand psalm-books, spelling-books,
psalters and other books, bound and in sheets, and a number
of other articles of value.
