A very handsome steeple is erected at the Presbyterian
Meeting-House, whereof the Rev. Mr. Morehead is pastor; and
a bell is hung in the tower; which bell formerly was at the
meeting-house in Brattle-Street, and presented to this
society by the Honorable John Hancock, Esq; In Capt.
Higginson, lately arrived from London, was brought a bell of
900 pounds weight for the new Congregational Meeting-house
at Salem, and another of 600 wt. for the Rev. Mr. Diman's at
the same place.
