It is matter of great lamentation to many serious persons,
that some measures are not taken to prevent the very many
exhibitions on the fifth of November. In short, for several
years past, it has been a sort of tax upon the inhabitants.

have them from every part of the town; and the horns blowing
on evenings for a month preceeding, is over doing the thing
