Joshua Gardner begs leave to inform his customers, and
others, that he has imported in the ship Marquis of
Rockingham, Richard Whitewood, commander, from London. A
fine assortment of English goods, which he will sell by
wholesale and retail, at the lowest rates for ready money,
at his shop in Cornhill, just above the post-office, among
which are, blue, mixt, drab, clarret, coffee, tyrian, green,
and black grey, low priz'd, middling and superfine broad-
cloths. . . [2 long columns, mostly dry goods, groceries,
and household items, including] jew harps.
