Of the Duke of York's Death. London, October 2. A gentlemen
of consequence has, very obligingly, favoured us with the
following particulars relative to the death of his Royal
Highness the Duke of York. His Royal Highness had danced
rather over much at the Chateau of a person of fashion, and
this had not only fatigued him but occasioned a very strong
perspiration. As soon as the ball was finished the Prince
gave orders for his carriages to be got ready immediately,
to set off for Toulon, from whence he was distant some three
or four leagues. . .
